Sethi distributes certificates among winners

JAMMU: BJP Jammu Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Yudhvir Sethi distributed certificates among the sports persons of power lifting event on the conclusion of Inter State Power lifting competition organized by Fitnessed First Gym situated in Pacca Danga area of Jammu city. The event was held under the supervision of Preet Dutta, Chief coach of the said gym. Participants under different weight categories took part in power lifiting competition. Among the winners include Pankaj Verma and Sunny Wazir in 93kg category, Vishal Kohli under 83 kg category, Rohit Singh Jamwal and Kewal KUmar under 63 kg category  and Miss Rama under 53 kg category.
Congratulating the winners of the completion, Yudhvir Sethi said that such events not only boost the morale of the supports loving young people but also develop a sense of consciousness about health and in these days when the youth is getting addicted to drugs etc the gyms and other such sports institutions can obviously encourage them to shed the bad social addictions and adopt a line which otherwise is good in every sense. He said that the youth joining the sports institutions today will surely achieve success in their respective fields and enable them to become respectable citizens.
Yudhvir Sethi, while appreciating the efforts of Preet Dutta in running such a gym in heart of the city, said that Jammu’s old city as very congested population nd there are almost no play grounds and parks for the people. Such a gym will prove to be of great significance for the people including the sports lovers.
